Monsieur Moustache

The first Tour de France started on 1st July 1903. Men with a bike, cap, bike tire around their neck and a big moustache were allowed to cycle this Tour de France. 2.428 km. If we take a look at the old photos, it seemed like a moustache was required in order to participate. Without moustache, no cyclist. Maurice Garin was the first winner of the Tour de France, he won 3 out of 6 stages in that particular Tour. A tribute to him and to all his opponents from the early years of this heroic sport.
